Records from any outside source use micr or mic jack and from your computer or Internet use Stereo Mix to record off the comperters soundboard. Its easy to select and save patches from any recorded sound. Save entire sound first then patches. Cons. The only con I have is the bad rap some give it. Like all new things, it takes getting use to. It has never locked up on me yet. I had Total. Recorder before and I like Audio Editor better. The visual wave of the recording lets you see where to mark the recording for cutting and saving. It has fade in and fade out which is always handy. It has lots more features I havent tried such as adding silence to sections, inseting audio, amplifying or quieting sections, and lots more I dont know what they even mean. But Ill lean eventually.
